Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) enrolled in the AMVA4NewPhysics network are be encouraged to attend to international conferences in high-energy physics and statistics, where they have a chance to present the scientific output of their work. Below is a list of conferences sponsored by the AMVA4NewPhysics network.

Past events

  • XIIth Quark Confinement and the Hadron Spectrum (QCHS13), July 31 – August 6, 2018, Maynooth University.
This conference series is an important appointment for scientists working on strong interactions, stimulating exchanges among theorists and experimentalists as well as across related fields.
The AMVA4NewPhysics coordinator, Tommaso Dorigo, is a member of the Organizing Committee and chair of the session “Statistical methods for Physics analysis in the XXI century”, with contributions by the network members P. de Castro, G. Kotkowski, M. Kuusela, G. Strong, A. Ustyuzhanin, P. Vischia.
  • EPS Conference on High Energy Physics, 5 – 12 July, 2017, Venice (Italy).
The European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics (EPS-HEP) is one of the major international conferences that review the field. It takes place every other year since 1971. Several network members gave talks at this conference.
  • XIIth Quark Confinement and the Hadron Spectrum (QCHS12), August 28 – September 3, 2016, Thessaloniki (Greece).
This conference series is an important appointment for scientists working on strong interactions, stimulating exchanges among theorists and experimentalists as well as across related fields.
